Hi I’m Caroline, I’m a career coach and I specialise in helping people in their 20s and 30s work out what they want to do with their careers.

What Happens Now® is my mission to create spaces where young professionals feel supported and empowered to take control of their career development.

I deliver this through 1:1 career coaching, both in private practice and corporate coaching, and through group training workshops for organisations across a wide range of career development topics. From building a personal brand, learning how to be a manager for the first time to finding the right career path for you, identifying and championing your own career development and communicating with confidence to name but a few, the work of What Happens Now® aims to set young professionals up for success in their professional lives by giving them the support that they need, when they need it.

Because if I'm going to be really honest here, I simply do not believe that career development support, career coaching and internal training should be reserved for the SLT and C-Suite. In fact, it's quite the opposite. I believe that providing specialist support for young professionals at the start of their careers, delivered in a way that resonates and relates to them is the key to future proofing organisations and creating happier careers for the next generation of our workforce.

I am a member of the Career Development Institute and is on the UK Register of Career Development Professionals. Most recently, I completed an MSc in Career Coaching in 2023 at Birkbeck College, University of London, with research focussing on the impact of working during the Covid-19 pandemic on the career perceptions of young professionals.

I have also been as key note speaker and expert commentator in UK media publications and events such as Stylist, Newsweek and The London Job Show.
